Durant Trails Pool
With a sunshade and lots of cool water, our large pool is the best way to stay cool on a hot summer day! The Durant Trails swimming pool is open to all residents with active key-cards. You can obtain a pool card by filling out our Pool Key Card Form and returning it to Charleston Management. Each residence is only allowed two pool key cards.
During life-guarded hours only, children between the ages of 12-15 years old may attend without adult supervision, however a Parent Child Waiver Form must be submitted. After filling out your parent/child waiver, please email to matoka@charlestonmanagement.com AND bring a copy to the lifeguards at the pool.”

Durant Trails Pool Rules
- During “swim at your own risk” times, NO child under 18 will be allowed to swim without adult supervision.
- During life guarded hours, the following rules are required for children:
- All children 11 and under MUST be accompanied by a parent or other responsible person at least 18 years old and authorized in writing by a parent
- All children between the ages of 12-15 years old can attend without adult supervision, however a Parent Child Waiver Form must be submitted. The form can be obtained through the Durant Trails website or a copy picked up at Charleston Management.
- SHOULD THE BEHAVIOR OF THE CHILD BE DEEMED TO BE UNACCEPTABLE BY THE LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY, A PARENT WILL BE CONTACTED AND THE CHILD MUST BE PICKED UP IMMEDIATELY. If a parent is contacted for misbehavior, the child will no longer be permitted at the pool area without adult supervision.
- The following items are prohibited:
- Rough play
- Diving
- Pool parties (unless HOA sanctioned)
- Abusive language
- Smoking of any kind
- Alcoholic beverages
- Glass containers
- Chewing gum
- Water guns
- Pets
- Skateboards
- Scooters
- Bikes
- Roller blades
- Large floats (exceptions are kick boards, noodles, water wings and infant floats)
- Hard balls (footballs, baseballs, tennis, etc.)
- All homeowners are asked to clean up after themselves when visiting the pool.
- Diaper age children must wear swim diapers with additional rubber pants. Contamination resulting from improper protection will affect pool operation. If contamination occurs, report the incident to the lifeguard/management immediately.
- There will be a 10 minute rest period every hour for everyone under 18 years of age. Lifeguards are not on duty during this time.
- All guests must be accompanied by a homeowner at all times. Grandparents and caregivers of children are exempt from this rule.
- If a storm is approaching and there is lightning, the pool will close for 30 minutes from the last lightning strike that is detected.
- Lifeguards are here to keep us safe! Please be respectful of them at all times!
- Lap lane is for lap swimming and/or exercise.
